Ever wanted to know how much rainfall your garden has been exposed to? Well now you can with this simple rain gauge.
Position the rainfall measure where it will be exposed to maximum rainfall (NOT under a tree). Simply push the spike into the ground or hang it a the top of a post.
It is ideally used in conjunction with a sprinkler (see how much water you're using) especially for those on a water meter. The rain gauge is calibrated in inches and millimetres for easy ready and will take 2 inches or 50mm.
Empty the rainfall measure daily for accurate readings. In winter avoid solid ice forming, by emptying the gauge ofter.
